Volunteer Intern - Research & Special Projects

Responsibilities:

  1. Survey Design and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop surveys that capture insights related to motherhood, homemaking, and related topics.

  • Collect and analyze survey data using appropriate research methodologies and tools.

  • Identify key trends and findings from the data, and contribute to the generation of meaningful insights.

  1. Content Creation:

  • Assist in transforming research findings into compelling and engaging content across various platforms, such as blog posts, articles, infographics, and social media updates.

  • Collaborate with the team to develop educational resources and materials based on research outcomes.

  • Contribute to the creation of multimedia content, including visuals and videos, to enhance the delivery of research findings.

  1. Special Projects:

  • Collaborate on various special projects, such as awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and program development.

  • Conduct research and gather information to support project development and execution.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and webinars.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about the mission and vision of Hearth Matters, with a genuine interest in elevating the social and economic status of motherhood and homemaking.

  • Strong research skills, with experience in survey design, data collection, and analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey research findings in a clear and engaging manner.

  • Proficiency in using research tools and software for data analysis is preferred.

  • Knowledge of content creation and the ability to transform research findings into compelling content is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

  • Availability to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to the volunteer internship.

Volunteer Intern - Social Media & Engagement

Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Content Creation:

  • Develop engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) aligned with Hearth Matters' mission and goals.

  • Design and implement social media campaigns to raise awareness, drive engagement, and promote our initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the team to develop multimedia content, including graphics, images, and short videos, to enhance social media presence.

  1. Community Engagement and Forum Management:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms, fostering meaningful conversations and building relationships with our audience.

  • Assist in managing and moderating the community forum, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for members.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify trends, topics, and issues arising in the community for further content development.

  1. Video Projects (based on experience and interest):

  • Utilize video production skills to create compelling video content, including filming, editing, and post-production, to engage and inspire our audience.

  • Collaborate with the team to develop video campaigns and initiatives that align with Hearth Matters' mission and resonate with our target audience.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about the mission and vision of Hearth Matters, with a genuine interest in elevating the social and economic status of motherhood and homemaking.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and impactful social media content.

  • Proficiency in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production, is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with experience in managing and growing social media accounts.

  • Familiarity with community management and forum moderation is a plus.

  • Creative mindset and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

  • Availability to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to the volunteer internship.
